Pecharromán and Ricardo Morales.
Golden Oak Award Extremadura 2009.

Extremadura Regional House in Fuenlabrada, handed the Golden Oak Ricardo Pecharromán and Morales, in the course of a formal dinner honoring the past day 28, for five hundred guests attended represented by the Board, in addition to the Mayor of the town , Municipal Corporation and other officials.

Its President, Eduardo González González after making a presentation of the award-winning biographical stressed that the grant is due, in recognition of his creative career and having presence in major international art forums, bearing the name of our land Extremadura, all countries where the language of the Fine Arts is an international communication.

In her acceptance speech Ricardo Pecharromán, he said, his pride, for giving service in this period to a million one hundred fifty thousand citizens, who have passed through its facilities, along with top politicians, ambassadors, researchers, teachers and families. Of these, three hundred and seventy-five thousand have been Extremadura.

He thanked the Regional House Extremadura in Fuenlabrada, Board and other members who accompanied him for the recognition of his foundational work and social commitment of its cultural project. Mayor Manuel Delgado Robles for their welcome in the Madrid suburb. The President of the Extremadura Regional House and all the great significance conveyed had the unforgettable event.

He expressed appreciation to individuals, universities, lyceum, museums, foundations and media. Just as everyone who believed in this project and supported it since its inception and also thanked those who believed that it contained all the requirements needed for an emerging international presence.

He added, the Golden Oak is a motivation that reassures me in our work-oriented education and awareness of heritage conservation and understanding of contemporary art by artists both consolidated as researching new procedures, - no space in our lives without knowledge and no man is more naked than shuns education - hence the right to education and our commitment and concern to reach everyone.

The economic crisis we face is the result of a society that lacks the most fundamental principles of ethics and social behaviors more human, everything must be achieved from education and humanistic education, and from thinking more altruistic and responsible.

End of the ceremony, with gratitude for the loving and high distinction. An incentive to undertake, he said, to all attendees, to develop a scientific methodology and all kinds of programs capable of meeting the higher goals of social needs.

The Golden oak was received in previous years by Juan Carlos Rodríguez Ibarra, Carmen Calvo Pollato and Guillermo Fernández Vara.
